A flight tour game that pilots and non-pilots alike can play…and win!

Welcome to LebanAir’s 2nd Annual Western Flight Tour. Eight months worth or excuses for flying beautiful Oregon!

January – September 21, 2012

Welcome to the 2nd Annual LebanAir Western Flight Tour. The objective of the Flight Tour is to encourage pilots to explore Oregon by air, and fly to airports they may not normally think to visit. As pilots, we are always looking for excuses to fly and new destinations to fly to. Now you have not only an excuse to fly to some new destinations, but a chance to win some prizes in the process!

We, the staff at LebanAir Aviation, have selected 13 airports for the 2012 Oregon Flight Tour, including 2 grass strips and one towered airport. All of the airports in the tour should be accessible for a private pilot with average skills, and most light GA aircraft. However, as with all flights, it is the pilot’s responsibility to research these airports and personal skill levels before making a flight.

  • Pilots/passengers can make qualifying landings at any 12 of the 13 airports, anytime between January 1st and September 21, 2012.
  • Flights may be made solo, in a group, and on any schedule and any order the pilot chooses.
  • To qualify for an entry into the prize drawing, you must land at a minimum of 6 of the airports in this passport book. For each additional 2 airports that you land at, you will receive 1 additional entry into the prize drawing. Thus, a pilot/passenger that lands at all 12 airports, will receive 4 entry tickets.
  • A pilot’s home base airport does not count, towards drawing entries. Having 13 airports in the tour gives everyone at least 12 qualifying airports, even if they are based at an airport in the tour.
  • To qualify a landing, each entrant (pilot or passenger) must attach a picture of themselves & airplane taken at the specified airport, on the appropriate page in this booklet. The picture should be taken at a location on the airport that includes the airport sign, or some other landmark that identifies the airport the are at. If the pilot flies alone and does not have a camera with a self timer, a picture of their airplane with identifiable sings or landmarks at that airport will be accepted.

LebanAir Day – Sept 22nd. Bring this booklet, complete with pictures, to the LebanAir Day BBQ fly-in to collect your entry tickets. If you can’t attend the fly-in, mail or drop off your completed passport booklet to LebanAir, and we will put your entry tickets in the drawing for you, and notify you if you win any prizes.

If you have questions about the tour read our FAQ.  If you don’t find an answer there, please email Tebo.

Passport Books are ONLY $25.00!
